Originally built in 2010, this renovated facility, nestled within the park's 15.8-acre grounds, now offers children of all abilities the chance to experience the thrill of baseball. The field has been upgraded with a new artificial surface, creating a safe and welcoming space for play. Riverdale Park Playground Replacement and Park Refresh
Riverdale Park in the City of Anaheim is excited to unveil its newly renovated playground, now open to the public as of January 2025. The vibrant, progressive play equipment includes a zipline, slides, swings, sensory play stations, educational play areas, and rope climbers. Designed with inclusivity in mind, the playground provides engaging and accessible play opportunities for children of all abilities. This highly popular park remains one of Anaheim's top destinations for family fun, offering a space where all kids can enjoy active and creative play.
Barton Playground Surfacing
Barton Park has recently undergone an exciting upgrade with the addition of a new rubberized play surface in the playground area. This high-quality surface enhances safety for children while they play, providing a soft landing and reducing the risk of injury. Known for its high community usage, this improvement not only makes the park safer but also adds a vibrant and attractive look to the area. Come visit and enjoy the enhanced playground experience at Barton Park, a beloved spot for families and children to gather and play.
Paul Revere Park Playground Improvements
The City of Anaheim is excited to announce the completion of a brand-new playground at Paul Revere Park, which reopened to the public in October 2024. The upgraded play area features a variety of fun and engaging elements, including slides, rope climbers, rock climbing panels, musical panels, and swings, designed to offer inclusive play for all ages and abilities. In addition to the new playground equipment, other park amenities have also been refreshed to enhance the community experience. We invite everyone to visit and enjoy the newly upgraded space, where creativity, exploration, and fun come together for all to enjoy!
Center Greens Park
Center Greens Park debuted in downtown Anaheim in September 2024, transforming a grassy, informal space into an iconic park with a new skate park, walking paths, butterfly garden and more for the community to enjoy.
The 3.5-acre park has something for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
The $6.5 million in park improvements include a new 8,000-square-foot skate park replacing a former ramp on the site, a youth challenge course, tot lot, upgraded basketball courts, butterfly garden, landscaping, fitness trail and a shaded plaza.
All of the new and upgraded features build on the first phase of enhancing Center Greens, which was a 4,300-square-foot playground built in 2022, with an assist from the Anaheim Ducks and Kaboom!
The playground, designed by kids and families in the community, includes a climbing wall, a bridge, monkey bars, a circular spider web climber, spinners, bucket swings, a companion swing, a zip line, teeter-totter game and musical panels.
For those who live, work in or visit downtown Anaheim, Center Greens will be another attraction along with the Anaheim Packing House, Center Street Promenade and the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center.
The park improvements promote play, health and wellness of everyone in our community.
Little People's Park Playground Replacement
A brand-new playground is now open at Little People's Park! Designed with input from local children at a special Design Day event and built by over 100 volunteers in a single day in May, this vibrant play space features a zip-line, slides, four-person see-saw, swings, a climbing wall, musical instruments, and an educational panel where children can explore the alphabet in sign language.
Replacing a 17-year-old structure, this new playground was made possible by the generous support of community partners, including CarMax, Anaheim YMCA, Jersey Mike's, local churches, and businesses, demonstrating a shared commitment to providing equitable access to play spaces for all children.
Paul Revere Court UpgradesAfter receiving requests from the community, the underutilized volleyball court was replaced with new surfacing to better serve residents and provide multiple-use opportunities. Volleyball is still available for those who want to bring a net, or you may simply have a picnic on the new green turf.
Oak Canyon Nature Center Renovation
Exciting improvements are awaiting you at Oak Canyon Nature Center!
We have renovated and expanded the amphitheater, installed a beautiful pedestrian deck with educational exhibits, improved the parking lot, created new interactive learning opportunities, and installed educational interpretive signs along the stream trail.

Brookhurst Teen Center
Construction of the Teen Center at Brookhurst Community Center is complete and was opened in December 2023. The addition created a dedicated space for the city’s critical youth programs and activities.
The Teen Center complements the Community Center’s exterior and interior architecture, includes an approximately 750 square foot space, a restroom, new landscaping, pathway and other accessible improvements.
