- Build a Kit – Stock up on essentials like water, non-perishable food, flashlights, batteries, a first aid kit, and any necessary medications to sustain your family for at least 72 hours.
- Be Informed – Monitor weather alerts from reliable sources and have multiple ways to receive warnings, like a weather radio or alerts from the Garland Emergency Notification System.
